How does Tixel treatment work?
Tixel® uses a heated titanium tip to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, delivering thermal energy without burning or ablating the tissue. This triggers natural healing and collagen renewal for smoother, firmer skin.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is minimal. You might experience redness, mild swelling, or a sunburn-like feeling for 1–3 days. Most patients resume normal activities within 24–48 hours.
Is Tixel® painful?
Tixel® is well-tolerated. Most clients describe it as a warm sensation. Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for added comfort.
How many sessions will I need?
For best results, we usually recommend a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced about 4–6 weeks apart. You’ll start to see improvements after the first session, with continued results as collagen builds.
When will I see results?
Results vary, but many clients notice smoother, brighter skin within a few weeks. Collagen production continues for up to 3 months after your final treatment.
Can Tixel® be combined with other treatments?

Is there anything I should avoid before or after treatment?

How is Tixel® different from microneedling?
While both treatments stimulate collagen and improve skin texture, Tixel® uses controlled heat, while microneedling uses tiny needles to create micro-injuries in the skin. Tixel® can treat more delicate areas like the eyelids and typically involves less downtime and redness. It’s also better for targeting pigmentation and improving skin tightness.
